In addition to printed books, eligible Young Authors may have their books featured in the My Hero Books Digital Library.
The Digital Library allows readers, supporters, family members, schools, and communities to access approved books through the My Hero Books platform while helping support young creators.
Available digital formats may include:
• E-Books
• Digital Reading Editions
• Audiobooks
• Streaming Audiobook Experiences
• Future Digital Products and Experiences Offered by My Hero Books
Digital Proof Approval Process
Before any book is printed or published, families will receive a digital proof copy for review and approval purposes.
Digital proof copies may contain watermarks, approval markings, order information, and other identifying features. These proof copies are provided solely for reviewing story content, artwork, spelling, and overall book accuracy before final production.
Digital Library Management
Participation in the My Hero Books Digital Library is optional and subject to approval by My Hero Books.
Books accepted into the Digital Library remain part of the My Hero Books publishing platform.
My Hero Books manages:

• Website Distribution
• Payment Processing
• Customer Support
• Platform Maintenance
• Digital Delivery
• Marketing and Promotional Opportunities
• Author Program Administration
My Hero Books may expand distribution opportunities through additional digital platforms, retailers, libraries, educational partners, and publishing channels in the future.
Young Author Royalty Share
Approved Young Authors receive:
60% of qualifying digital sales revenue collected through the My Hero Books platform.
My Hero Books receives:
40% of qualifying digital sales revenue collected through the My Hero Books platform.
This revenue-sharing model may apply to:
• E-Book Sales
• Audiobook Sales
• Digital Reading Products
• Streaming Content
• Eligible Future Digital Formats Offered Through My Hero Books
Royalty shares are calculated based on the actual sale price of eligible digital products purchased through the My Hero Books platform.
