At My Hero Books, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to read, dream, and become the hero of their own story.
Our mission goes beyond creating personalized children's books. Through our support of Konnect Youth, a separate nonprofit organization, we're working to help children with dyslexia and reading challenges gain access to the resources they need to succeed.
We're not just creating books. We're creating HEROES!
My Story
Growing up, reading wasn't always easy for me. I struggled with dyslexia as a child, and I know firsthand how frustrating it can feel when learning doesn't come as easily as it does for others.
But I also learned something important: struggling to read doesn't mean a child isn't smart, talented, or capable of greatness.
That experience stayed with me and became part of the inspiration behind My Hero Books.
I wanted to create something that would make children excited about reading. Something that would allow them to see themselves as superheroes, princesses, explorers, and the stars of their own adventures.
But I wanted to do more.
Through my nonprofit, Konnect Youth, my goal is to help children with dyslexia and reading challenges gain access to specially designed books, reading support, and opportunities for early dyslexia screening.
My dream is to help children build confidence, discover their potential, and never feel that their learning challenges define who they can become.
