The Young Hero Program gives children the opportunity to become the hero of their own published book while building confidence, creativity, imagination, and leadership skills. Families can purchase additional copies to share, sell, or showcase at My Hero Books book fairs, Young Hero events, schools, daycares, and community gatherings.
Our mission is to give children an experience they can be proud of, create memories that will last a lifetime, and show them that their ideas and imagination have value. Through the Young Hero Program, children can inspire others, experience the excitement of seeing their own book come to life, and discover the power of their own voice.

The My Hero Books Young Hero Publishing Program™ is designed to do more than create a personalized book.
Our mission is to help children build confidence, improve reading skills, develop creativity, and experience what it feels like to become a published Young Hero.
Each child helps shape their story through a guided questionnaire about their interests, dreams, goals, favorite activities, challenges, and imagination. Our creative team then transforms those ideas into a professionally written and illustrated book featuring your child as the star.

Please contact My Hero Books for custom pricing.
We recommend starting with a maximum order of 100 books. This allows most families to test the market, participate in events, and build excitement around their Young Author before investing in larger quantities.
How Book Sales Work
We believe in being transparent and making sure every family understands their options.
There are three ways Young Authors can sell their books.
Independent Sales
Option 01
This is the most popular option.
After purchasing your wholesale package, you may sell your books on your own.
Examples include:
• Family and Friends
• Church Events
• Community Events
• Local Businesses
• Social Media Promotions
• Personal Websites
• Neighborhood Sales
When selling independently, you keep 100% of your book sale profits.
There are no commissions paid to My Hero Books after your books have been purchased.
The books belong to you.
My Hero Books Hero Events
Option 02
Throughout the year, “My Hero Books may host Young Hero Events, Book Fairs, Young Hero Showcases…”
Young Authors may apply to participate and showcase their books.
For My Hero Books-hosted events:
✔ Families keep 100% of their book sales
✔ No percentage is collected from book sales
✔ A small event table fee may apply
Typical table fees range between $20 and $50 depending on the event.
The table fee helps cover venue expenses, event staffing, marketing, and event operations.
Once your table fee is paid, every book sold belongs to you.
School-Sponsored Young Hero Book Fairs
Option 03
Some schools may choose to partner with My Hero Books to host Young Hero Book Fairs on campus.
These events are designed to:
• Encourage literacy
• Celebrate student achievement
• Promote entrepreneurship
• Increase parent involvement
• Raise funds for schools
For school-sponsored events, a percentage of book sales may be donated back to the participating school through our Young Authors Give Back Program.
This contribution helps support:
• School Libraries
• Reading Programs
• Classroom Resources
• Student Activities
• Literacy Initiatives
Contribution percentages may vary by school and event.
Specific details will always be provided before participation.
